The Air New Zealand Tourism Industry Awards are our industry’s most anticipated event.
The Awards have two underlying objectives: to stimulate a process of continual business improvement and
to recognise excellence within our industry. These objectives apply across all businesses, large or small.
Last year many businesses that intended to enter the Awards were not able to do so because of
unprecedented activity over the last few months marking the Cook Islands 50th Anniversary Celebrations.
For this reason the closing date for entries in the Business Awards was extended to 1 February 2016 with the winners to be announced at the Awards Presentation and Gala Dinner to be held on Friday 15 April 2016.

The Awards have also been re-branded as the Air New Zealand Cook Islands Tourism Industry Awards 2016 but will still be judged on 2014 – 2015 performance.
Congratulations to all the winners of the 2016 Air New Zealand Cook Islands Tourism Awards. They are now part of an elite circle of industry leaders in business excellence.

Our Awards team worked tirelessly to produce an outstanding event that did us proud. Over 300 guests were entertained by a stunning cultural spectacular and were treated to a sumptuous banquet of Pacific/Asian flavours. The event also featured two top business speakers – New Zealand jeweler Sir Michael Hill and Air New Zealand Chief Sales and Commercial Officer Cam Wallace
